Awards and Recognition

 Since 1992, many of the facilities guided by the leadership staff of Serenity have been recognized for their innovative and quality-driven programs.   The California Association of Health Facilities instituted the “Excellence in Programming Award” to recognize individual facilities for superior achievement in given key areas of long term care.  The association looks for unusual, creative and innovative program ideas to share with other association members, something that goes beyond the current standards of care.   We have been directly involved in many “Excellence in Programming” Awards recipients including the following:

American Health Care Association (AHCA) Awards

Awarded to facilities that demonstrate a strong commitment to implementing the principles of continuous quality improvement.

Modeled after criteria from the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award, the nation’s premier award recognizing quality achievement, AHCA’s award is designed to support continuous quality improvement efforts in the long term care industry by promoting quality awareness and education and by recognizing achievement in the quality improvement area.

Since 1996, leaders within Serenity have had direct involvement in the operations of 10 Bronze Award (formerly Step 1) and 4 Silver Award (Step 2) recipients including:
